This metallic faux finish with strong orange undertone was created by tinting the base color darker with each pass of the application. The simple light fixture allows for a view and lighting inside the opening features this specialty ceiling cove.
 Based on a design provided by Elstad Interiors, I built 34 frames with mirrors that were assembled into 17 units to cover existing fire boxes on 17 floors of a condominium building. Each unit is mounted on hardware allowing both pieces to slide open
